Back to the roots

Hey guys,

Ok i haven't been in touch with the roots of The Naathan Show lately.
Games and Movies.

So here's some off the line updates.
(sources: IGN, GameTrailers.com, Inertia media, Rockstar and Gamer life)

First things first.
Games.

Activision and Marvel announced Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions earlier this year. The Beta for the game is out and the reviews are off the charts! I've seen the gameplay videos and its god damn amazing! The story line is basically that Spidey has to tackle a new problem with this ancient relic that brings about a split in 4 dimensions. The artifact is shattered in four and needless to say, one piece is flung into one dimensions. Spidey, in order to restore a balance, had to travel to all four dimensions and retrieve the shattered pieces which are, needless to say, in possession of a particular version of a supervillian in that dimension. The fight sequences are amazing as well as the graphic rendering. Plus Spider-man het a different costume in every dimension. So far there's the original spidey costume, a full leather assassin type costume and a bona fide SPAWN costume. The last costume is yet to be announced. Must play!

Apart from that a hand full of First Person Shooters are due to be released this year. Crysis 2 (now playable is computers on earth and not some high tech planet), F.3.A.R, Vanquish (from the creators of Resident Evil) and there's word that they are developing more DLCs for L4D2. Hitman 4 and Arkham Asylum 2 are also in the works. There has been news that they are canceling Assasin's Creed 3 (YES!!!!) and possibly GTA V. Updates when i know.

Movie wise I just saw Price of Persia. Damn good movie. They were smart enough to not follow that exact storyline of the original game. Contrary to popular belief, i think Jake Gyllanhal played a pretty good Dastan. Heck he even looked like the Sand of Time Prince. The Fight scenes were great but more could be asked for when it came to Dastan's fight scenes. All in all good movie that does the Game proud. Costumes for Captain America and Thor are out. The Cap looks awesome!. Thor too..in a KISS meets Metallica way. On the other side of Comics, DCs Green Lantern looks awesome. Can't wait to see it. Batman 3 (tentatively known) is to be out on the 20th of June 2012. Bad Boys 3 is also to be out next year as well as MIB3. Next year's gonna be a good year for comics and... Will Smith. BTW the new Karate Kid seems nice.

Thats all i got for now. For updates follow me on twitter. I promise i don't tweet about my bowl movements and the weather.

Ciao guys!
