Connecting the Circuits

Hey guys,

I hate this part of the year.
Deepavali Spring Cleaning.
Deepavali Re-Decorating.
Deepavali Shopping.
Deepavali.

Don't get me wrong.
I like deepavali.
The food, the people, the festive spirit.
I love it.

Its the work that goes behind it that i hate.
So basically the past week was spent cleaning, and cleaning and cleaning.
We bought all the decorative stuff on the first day, shopped for clothes, curtains, sheets and stuff on the second day, went grocery shopping on the third day, we have to cook for nearly 80 people, so you can imagine. Then for the next two or three days it's been cleaning here, dusting there, vaccuming here mopping there. After which we moved stuff around the house like a million times and ACID WASHED the floors and such. When we say Spring cleaning, we mean nutralizing every microscopic piece of shit around the house.

Not fun.
Especially when you're asked to do all the moving, bleaching and vaccuming and drilling and nailing and painting and whatnot.

The good news is that my room is now WHO certified. You need not wear a HAZMAT suit anymore. I added a coupla stuff in too. Got myself a brand new pair of Logitech SoundBlasters, moved the old telly into my room and hooked it up with the x-box. Brought in an old coke-fridge and hooked that up too. So i spent a good day or so just moving and wiring up everything in my room. Once again i have the best room in the house.

So all said and done, i've got to rush over to my grandma's like now.
Happy Deepavali my people.

Indians Rule!
(Some of 'em do, at least)
