Flipsides

Hey guys,

Its that time of the year.
Hungry Ghost month.
burning everywhere.

The bad news is that i'm allergic to the smog and my sister is asthmatic.
Which means i caugh all day and my sister sneezes all night.
which in turn results in all of us losing sleep...which is not a good thing,
So forgive me if im just a tad bit bitter about the season.

On the other hand, this season, for some weird reason reminds me of my childhood days.
I had a neighbour once who used to burn offering all year round. She was sweet, always gave me chocolates whenever i wonder infront of her house, which i did alot because i was good friends with her kids. Kids who had a PS, Sega Saturn and a Gameboy. Things which i never had. We were 6 or 7 back then but i'd have married her daughter just for that Sega.

Wonder where she is right now.. .
She was cute back then...probably quite hot now.
The daughter you sick bastards!
*runs off to check old phone books*

So yeah anyways.
Its awfully cold these days.
I was holed up at the National Library the whole day.
Apart from some reseach i was doing i did come across a gem of a book.

The entire V for Vendetta Graphic novel series omnibus.
All 10 chapters in Hard cover and the original Alan moore artwork.

Graphic Novel Fans MUST read this one.
The movie was brilliant, the novel surpasses that.
Every post war sentiment mentioned in the movie looks much more vivid in the novel.
The BTN opression and the totaliatrian government system was more detailed in the novel. Not to mention the importance on Eevy Hammond that the comic places. Brilliant.

Its available at the National Library, Comics section on B1

On the other side of life:

I met up with Sarah yesterday.
She had some thrashing out to to about her relationship.
I'm her weapon of choice.
Wee siong was there too.
Yeah, i do know you sarah.
And thanks to your "fuck la" and "Bastard sia" we may never actually be able to set foot in that Macs again.

But thats alright
