Happy 18th to Serena, Archh and Mahes.
Cheers to not getting any of you gifts this year...
But Happy Birthday!
Too bad none of you could join us at the CC for the Official Opening on Sunday.. .
It went perfectly.
The new CC's simply beautiful.
Sure we don't have a Canadian Pizza or Mcdonalds.. .
But we have a hell of a lot more facilities.
A fully air-conditioned Hall with 4 row stage lighting.
2 Dance studios (Soundproof and each with its own changing room).
3 Music Rooms (soundproof with their own entertainment systems).
An MP art rooms that can double as an additional Art Room.
4 MPRs that can combine into one huge-ass room.
A Conference room with a view of Canberra that can fit 50 or so ppl.
A comittee room that went through landscaping heaven.
A terrace on the 3rd floor that can fit 80 or so ppl.
A Roof Garden on the 4th floor that fits at least 50.
In addition to all these, there's a dozen or so quiet cozy corners all around the CC.
Good for unwinding and spending some quality time with yourself.
Thats all i've explored so far.
The Kopitiam's on the way and so are the other vendors.
So by the end of the year, its safe to say that the CC's all we'll ever need in Canberra.
No more under-the-block CC.
I do miss the old void-deck CC, it was home for the past 5 years for Canberra CC.
Even Soon Wai misses it.
But i guess we'll learn to live with the new multi-million dollar one.
Hahah.
