Ok here's a few good ways to spoil your weekend..
- Get news that a someone is your extended family's arrested.
- Your dad comes to you for help with some finances.
- Burn $600.
- Demolish almost all hope of driving by december.
- Come down with the flu
Yep,
Sometimes life can be a breeze,
Today...for me...it's a fucking storm.
My dad got a call yesterday that one of his siblings had been arrested for suspicion of money laundering...
Super!
The good news is that he was cleared of all charges (he was at the wrong place at the wrong time)
However, it still costed us nearly 1500RM to get him out on bail.
My dad confided in me, currently the only one in Singapore to know, about this issue.
I guess he was obliged, being the eldest son and all....and the financial situation made it so that no one there could help in an instant.
So he had to do something.
Unfortunately, he didn't have that much cash.
Therefore he came to the only person he could talk to, me, for help.
I gave him the money i had saved up for my driving.
$600 bucks.
Maybe it's dumb, but this is family.
If not me than who huh?
Thats what i've been telling myself the whole day.
...
and because this is family, i can't expect the money back.
Sigh.. .
We're a pretty stable middle-class family.
However finance has been a little tight ever since my grandma and cousin sis came to live with us.
I wouldn't have it any other way...
Its good to have a big sis around the house..
But finances are a little tight.
Thats why i just smiled when my dad said he's sponsor my driving.
I can't let him do that.
That was the main reason i started working in the first place.
So yeah...
Back to work.
My driving dreams have to wait a little longer.
Guess Saras is gonna drive before me afterall.
Hhahaha
Note: Thanks for calling Mohnish, it meant much.
